You’ll need a hand towel – or a towel that you can hold just a little wider than your shoulders. Feel the connection in your back with these exercises. A little reminder that Pilates is really all about the back body! Enjoy!
Intermediate
Variations on a Theme (Foundational-Strong Intermediate)
Here’s a Foundational Progression with variations that range from Foundational to downright challenging. Do them all or only do the ones that suit you best! Enjoy!
Rhythm No Blues (Int)
I mix up rhythm here in the Intermediate mat progression that’s all about Control. Join us!
Mobility Mat (Int)
Mobility v. Flexibility. Which is more important? I’d argue that being able to actively move your muscles in a good range of motion is more important than how passively (with help) you can move those muscles. This mat class integrates even more mobility exercises into our Intermediate classical progression. Enjoy!
Transitions Transitions (Int)
Transitions are exercise themselves! This video focuses on the transitions between each individual exercise in the Pilates mat progression, so that once you start your workout you don’t stop until the very end!
Wicked Wall Workout (Int)
This wall workout starts lying on the floor and ends standing on the wall and all positions provide good feedback on alignment. I love using the wall because its like your teacher without having to say a word!! Enjoy!
